My Experience with Marvel Super Heroes Game
I have always been attracted to the Marvel universe. I used to borrow comics with The Avengers and Spiderman as a kid, and now that I saw that the new Disney Infinity 2.0 has some of my childhood’s heroes, I really wanted to try it out, even though I’m not exactly a child anymore (not officially, anyway).
Fortunately, I learned that my 12 year old nephew had just bought the game, so I paid him a visit and tried the Disney Infinity Super Heroes game for myself (yes, I’m that selfish). The starter pack lets you control three heroes: Iron Man, Thor and Black Widow. You activate them by placing them on the Infinity Base. The game itself is pretty spectacular in both terms of graphics and feel. I really enjoy flying around as Iron Man or pounding Frost Giants (and even cars) with Thor’s great hammer. I love that I can level up my characters, gain new skills and collect items. While some quests did feel a bit repetitive, like guard X for M minutes, take those citizens from A to B, etc., the Disney Infinity game overall was quite entertaining. After following the main campaign for a while, I started to fiddle with the Tool Box. I can create my own game and universe with enough imagination and patience, and I have to admit I spent quite a lot of time fooling around with the Tool Box. I have a feeling my nephew won’t be very excited to see me again any time soon.
